A successful coaching relationship begins with feeling genuinely at ease. I place great importance on building rapport early, and on creating an environment that is comfortable, respectful and productive; good thinking requires comfort as well as challenge. All client conversations are treated with the utmost discretion. Clients should feel entirely free to speak openly, think aloud, and explore difficult territory — confident that it remains private. 

Integrity and Impartiality

Clients receive honest, considered counsel — not empty reassurance. I hold myself to a high standard of professional integrity, and that means offering a genuine perspective even when it may be uncomfortable. I have no interest in a particular outcome other than my client’s success. A commitment to making a meaningful difference to each client’s professional life has been the constant throughout my career. Whatever the scale of the goal, every client receives the same level of care and attention.
