ABOUT
Sally Armstrong is an experienced careers professional and coach with over twenty years of guiding individuals toward fulfilling and purposeful careers. Building on her extensive background in education, leadership, and career development, Sally has expanded her practice into coaching, helping clients navigate transitions, unlock potential, and lead with clarity and confidence.
With an MA in Educational and Vocational Guidance, the Qualification in Careers Guidance (QCG), and the Level 6 Diploma in Careers Leadership,
Sally has spent much of her career designing and leading impactful careers programmes, most recently as Head of Careers at Bishop Wordsworth’s School. In this role, she has led one of the region’s most respected careers education initiatives, supporting students to make informed choices about higher education, apprenticeships, and employment, and building partnerships with universities, employers, and alumni networks, alongside working as founder of The Facing Forward Careers Company and with clients of all ages. In 2025 she achieved certification from the University of Cambridge's Executive Coaching online course.
Her earlier career in finance in the City gives her valuable insight into professional environments, performance, and transition, a foundation that informs her coaching philosophy. She brings a unique blend of structure and empathy to her work, combining evidence-based guidance techniques with reflective coaching, to empower clients to find clarity and direction.
Sally’s coaching practice, Endelyn Coaching, reflects her Cornish heritage and is inspired by the name’s meaning, “fire soul” — representing strength, leadership and confidence. Her approach focuses on helping individuals and teams identify their authentic strengths and build the confidence to take meaningful next steps in their professional journeys.
Beyond her coaching practice, Sally is a qualified light aircraft pilot, a keen photographer and Cathedral guide in Salisbury — roles that reflect her curiosity, discipline, and lifelong commitment to learning and exploration.
